Active Citizenship & Environmental Justice
People are our primary field of interest and nature our standard. We promote the creation of community powered, women centered,
Rural Community Environmental Education Centers based on three pillars: Water, Women, Work.
Investments in agricultural development can become the catalyst for encouraging broad-based rural development and provide the basis for meeting a wider sustainable development objectives such as reducing poverty, food and nutritional insecurity, and environmental degradation.
Rural Community Environmental Education Centers can be established with the support of socially responsible investing by private individuals, mission-related and program related investing by foundations and universities, venture philanthropy, social entrepreneurship, local economies, and consumer demand for organic and green products.
